I have participated in working groups where artistic and technical part mix.
Game Programmer and mechanics game designer.
I can program all the parts of a game, from shaders to game mechanics. I currently use Unity3D.
My place is in creation, from conceptual ideas or basic mechanical to the final game code:
- Game data (load game, save game, inventory, prefabs code, NPCs...).
- IA Programing.
- Animation programing (coordinating character animations from the instructions given by the player).
- Shaders
- Unity editor customization.
- Game setup (install the game resource accessed by the executable)
- Menus and UI, from concept mechanic to final code.
- Light system programing.
- Try scenes (where modelers and textures check if their job works well on the engine).
- Particles system programing.
- Custom code comments with XML.
